Located in the newly renovated Arlington Market Shopping Center, Eros Restaurant offers the ultimate Mom and Pop dining experience in Arlington Heights. While the neighborhood surrounding the restaurant has certainly changed over the years, from a popular shopping mall to a more residential development, Eros has withstood the test of time. One visit and it is easy to see why.

Eros Pasta PrimaveraNo frills here, just down home, quality cooking. The soups are a meal within themselves. They always have their cream soups made from scratch and are the best cream soups I have ever had. You can even get a container of the soup to go! A wide range of menu offerings features your standard burgers and salads to gyros, pasta and ribs. All sandwiches and burgers, including the gyros have the option to upgrade to deluxe for a large side of fries.

Make sure to save room for dessert. The ice cream creations are amazing. From the super thick malts to the Brownie Sundae, you will not be disappointed! Much like the soups, you can get a container of their tasty ice cream to go. As an added bonus, all ice cream specials come with a mini umbrella!

The biggest draw to Eros is the history and the memories. On any given day, you will find families celebrating birthdays, girl scout troops stopping in for dessert after the father-daughter dance or a couple out for their anniversary. For more than forty years, Eros has been a neighborhood establishment and that position in the community is clear with one look at the diverse clientele.

The interior decor feels a bit dated, with painted frescos and some metalwork art on the walls, but the delicious food and friendly staff more than make up for it. If you are ever passing through Arlington Heights, make sure to stop in to Eros for a meal.
